The students had an evaluation at the end of the morning, based on three questions:
How much did you learn?
How proud of yourself are you?
Which part of the artwork did you enjoy the most?
The students added their response to each question by adding a mark – the nearer the centre the mark was placed on the target indicated the higher the student rated their achievement /enjoyment or learning relating to the specific questions.
Teacher Mari Roberts has been working with the students to develop a set of sketchbooks. This work focuses on the over-arching them of the biodiversity of the Oak tree and is alongside the ecology sessions with ecologist Yusef Samari and organiser Jake Rayson, and the bird, butterfly and moth art sessions artist Pip Lewis facilitated.
